2011 June Wallpaper
Got back late last night from Lincoln Spring Nationals. In honor of being in a car for almost 24 hours coming back I present this road shot from Wyoming
2011 May Wallpaper
I called this shot "Prayer Tree" and I hope to go back one day to tie one myself.
2011 April Wallpaper
This shot was taken at the annual Blessing of the Horses in San Martín just out side San Miguel. I was on the way into the festival proper when I stopped to see where I've come from (something I try to do, but often forget). I saw this guy on his way in and he turned to look behind him at just the right moment.
Self Portrait Loathing
I could say, with a straight face, that part of what got me into photography was the fact that I hate having my picture taken. I do. I'm just not a fan. If you're the guy with the camera, then well, it's pretty easy to make sure you don't end up on the wrong side of the lens. This year though, and I hate to call it a resolution, I decided that this year I'd be doing more portrait work.
Arches, Profile and Appetite 4 Art
I'm donating two prints to Appetite 4 Art this year. If you aren't familiar with Appetite 4 Art you should check it out and consider attending (or even donating something to the auction). It's a great event benefiting a great organization: Boys & Girls Clubs.
2011 March Wallpaper
A little color to celebrate March and a short lived run of nice, dare I say it, spring-like weather.
Love Hangover 2011, Preview
I won't get a chance to all of these processed for a day or four, but figured I'd post up a little preview.
2011 February Wallpaper
Ah February. Here's my razor wire valentine. I hope it's appreciated. I almost went to prison to get this wallpaper for you.
A Helios Replacement?
I've had a copy of Helios for a while now. It's good, but it's always seemed a little over complicated. Enter DaylightCal.
Federal Protection Services and Photography
Get into my office and discover that the links they're providing are, to put it kindly, a bit awkward for getting something that you might actually want to print out and put in your camera bag.
