I'm sort of stuck here, at the very complicated intersection of images and words. That's not a complaint. It's a fascniating time to be right here, right now—seeing so much of it come together. In so many different ways.
Work
I'm co-founder of Registered Creative—a small agency located in downtown Durham, North Carolina. We work on all sorts of stuff for all sorts of people. I'll write there on occasion as well, but I'm hoping to avoid crossing the streams. That's work. This is me. And while I find it difficult to hold back in any enviroment, I should take a second to make it completely clear that what is written here, has nothing to do with my employer.
Having said that, my boss is an asshole.
I also take pictures but with less frequency than I'd like. And that's sort of the genesis of this site. A carrot (hopefully) and stick (likely) to produce more work for myself.
Amazon Links
Trying something a bit new as of 28 May 2017 and that's using Amazon Associate links for stuff I mention. Here's the official text from Amazon is "We are a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for us to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites." If this results in enough revenue to yield a reasonably priced bottle of bourbon, I'll be ecstatic.

RT @djb_rh: So here we go...ban hammer soon, I'm guessing. But everyone should post their other social media this way. https://t.co/sAsuOM6EDa

What Would Luthen Do?

This is particularly alarming given how much most sequels usually suck. https://t.co/1B4y7RfyU1

Play
Well, some days I'm convinced I have the best job on the planet. But all work and no play makes me a dull boy.
Laura
Laura rocks. She's an extraordinary massage therapist and Nia instructor. I couldn't have dreamt of a better partner in this life.
Downtown
In 2011, Laura and I moved back to downtown Raleigh. Into. . . lets call it a "fixer upper" and just understand that I'm being charitable.
It's a 1924 Craftsman that keeps us withing walking distance of all the stuff we love to do.
Wheels
Since 2007, I've competed nationally in SCCA Solo. I started out in 2005 MINI Cooper S and since then managed to hook up with two of the best people you ever hope to spend 12+ hours in a car with.
It burns a lot of weekends and it'd be disengenuous to not post about it here.
