Netherlands Day 2: Sleeping In, Rijksmuseum, and Heineken

Slept in a bit, but decided to push to the Rijksmuseum. Of course we walked—so much to see.

Rijksmuseum

We didn’t have much of a plan for our day at the Rijksmuseum. Mostly to just get in and start looking around. We decided to skip Van Gogh because we had plans to get out to The Kröller-Müller Museum later in the week.

I still intend to put down some ideas on the Portrait Mode on the iPhones X, but until then: Sculptures are great opportunity to play with it.

The Museum Quarter

You could spend all day here. We would, eventually, make our way back to MoCo for the Banksy exhibit.

Heineken Experience

After the Rijks closed, we realized we weren’t that far from the Heineken Experience. The tour takes place in the original brewery — I have a hard time passing up on reclaimed, historic industrial spaces.
