I'm not entirely sure why I like it. Is it the weird combination of the industrial and agrarian? The sky? Maybe I'm just happy I snagged it at 70 miles per hour with an iPhone.
2011 April Wallpaper
This shot was taken at the annual Blessing of the Horses in San Martín just out side San Miguel. I was on the way into the festival proper when I stopped to see where I've come from (something I try to do, but often forget). I saw this guy on his way in and he turned to look behind him at just the right moment.
Self Portrait Loathing
I could say, with a straight face, that part of what got me into photography was the fact that I hate having my picture taken. I do. I'm just not a fan. If you're the guy with the camera, then well, it's pretty easy to make sure you don't end up on the wrong side of the lens. This year though, and I hate to call it a resolution, I decided that this year I'd be doing more portrait work.
