With a full round of belts and seals replaced, Laura and I jumped into 57 and headed back to the mountains. We stayed as guests at Old Orchard Creek—the best blueberry farm in Ashe Co.

Walter and Johnny are fantastic hosts, would highly recommend anyone looking to get away for a bit to the Appalachians to see if a cottage is available.

The excuse to go? Something resembling a years-long traditional birthday celebration with friends who are part of our modest Coronavirus Pod. It turns out we got to celebrate the 2020 presidential election as well.

What a great trip.
