Dragged out the X-Pro1 for a walk.

RDU

On the last two mountain trips, in the spirit of traveling light, I only dragged the X100T for the ride.

The entire X100 line from Fujifilm has been a great ride. I’ve got a soft spot for the X-Pro1, though. It was the camera I picked up when I rolled my freelance business into a partnership. It was my camera and not the “work” camera.

So back in November grabbed the camera, making sure the battery had a reasonable charge and headed out just before sunset to Schenck Forest to walk a loop I’ve not done in years.

Saw nearly a dozen deer, some less than 12 feet away. The 50mm equivalent prime and slower autofocus of an 8-year-old camera made it not the best “wildlife” set up, but it was fun giving it a shot.

And that’s the thing, I’ve not been shooting much, but that hour as the sun went down was super enjoyable.
