Trying something a little different this autocross season: I’m bringing a camera.
It’s not that different, but different enough. Look, the iPhone has a great camera—it scratches that immediate gratification itch.
That’s some of the problem. I miss the ergonomics of an actual camera. Hypothetically, I miss taking the time to edit on something besides a phone, but I never feel like I have the time.
So let’s make the time.
So, when I go to events—or nearly anywhere else—I aim to bring at least one camera along.
This past weekend, I grabbed the X-T3 and took it with me to the first national tour of the 2021 season. (There is an iPhone shot or three in the mix.)
The Event
Nice to get back down to South Georgia to drive. The tour format of just three runs each day is a great mental exercise. After two days, I managed to hold on to fifth in a ridiculously competitive class.
The car was good. We made a change on Sunday morning that I think made it better. Will find in out in Charlotte next weekend.
