For the last day, we had an early flight the next morning, so we kept it local visiting MoCo Museum for the Bansky/Icy and Sot exhibit. (Just the next day, a copy of Banksy's Girl with a Balloon would sell for $1.4 million, and then attempt to self-destruct.)
It was a beautiful day to wander around the city. We popped into Cafe Gollem—a craft beer joint — for a couple of beers. We grabbed a slice at Winkel 43. We managed to win the "day of" lottery for Anne Frank House tickets.
We finished off with a drink at Freddy's, and then we wandered by Rembrandt Corner and grabbed dinner outside on the canal. Then it was back to pack and get ready to head home.
It was a great trip — and not just because it was the first real vacation we’ve had in a while. It was the sort of trip you’re not quite ready to be over as your packing up. So, what do you do? You start planning the next one on the flight home.
