David Alan Harvey has released his latest book, based on a true story. I'm a fan of web, ePub and the whole Brave New World of publishing. Hell, I'm hoping to work on and release an iBook later this year, but I grew up taking pictures. With film. And then got into print design. Books that manage to transcend the expected and emerge as mechanical art objects are reminders that, technology be damned, there's a special place for print. Inviting the reader (or viewer) to deconstruct and then reassemble the initial story is a great idea and it looks to be executed brilliantly in based on a true story.
It reminds me, in some ways, of Sagmeister's Things I have learned in my life so far. I'm sure these are going to move quickly — if you want one. I'd jump on it.
